The Greater High Point Food Alliance, one of the High Point Community Foundation’s funded organizations, hosts a summit on food security in the greater High Point community.
In 2015 the Summit focused on community empowerment. The 2016 Summit focused on unity within the community. This year, the focus is sustainable solutions.
The annual Food Security Summit brings together people for real conversations: those experiencing food insecurity, non-profits, local businesses and concerned citizens. This is our community’s chance to create coordinated efforts, learn better ways to serve, and identify clear and measurable goals toward improving food insecurity in the greater High Point area.
The public is invited. You can join us Friday, September 29 for a day of collaboration and discussion to strengthen our community. Learn what is happening now, hear local sustainability success stories, and share in creating a greater community.
